About Me

Dr. Muhammad Asadullah Madni (PhD, Postdoctoral Fellow) is currently serving as a Professor of Pharmaceutics at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), Pakistan. He has authored over 120 publications in high-impact-factor journals, contributed three book chapters, and presented his research at numerous international academic conferences and scientific forums.

In addition to his academic and research credentials, Dr. Madni possesses valuable professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, where he worked as a Quality Assurance Officer. During this tenure, he was actively involved in quality control and assurance operations, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and pharmaceutical product quality protocols. He has been an ISO certified auditor since 2001 and has conducted validation studies in the pharmaceutical industry in Pakistan.

Alongside his academic and industrial roles, Dr. Madni has made significant contributions to higher education quality management. He has been serving as the Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, where he has led various initiatives for the strengthening and institutionalization of quality assurance mechanisms in line with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan’s policies and international best practices. Under his leadership, the QEC played a pivotal role in the implementation of academic program self-assessments, external academic audits, faculty evaluation systems, ranking data management, and institutional performance reviews.

His sustained efforts as QEC Director have contributed to enhancing the university’s national and international academic rankings, improving teaching-learning practices, and promoting a culture of continuous academic and administrative improvement across all faculties and departments.

Dr. Madni’s current research focuses on the development of innovative micro- and nanoscale drug delivery systems, including lipid-based, hybrid, and polymeric carriers, to address challenging clinical and therapeutic needs.
