The department has been conducting its academic activities under the faculty of Islamic Learning, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, with a view to research and dissemination of knowledge in Fiqh and Shariah. The department initiates its policy to integrate Fiqh and Shariah in order to achieve the goals through its syllabus, curriculum and teaching strategies. It also prepares a generation of university students who improve the Islamic reality by calling for following the legal content and its evidence from the Holy Quran and Sunnah including the sayings of the Prophet's Progeny (Peace be upon them) and the statement of the truth of the legal text and Islamic thought.
