05 March 2026: Meeting of the Syndicate Committee to decide appeals of educational institutions for academic sessions 2025-26 was held at Abbasia Campus. Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Pro Vice Chancellor presided the meeting.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
