The 17th meeting of the Senate of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held at the Abbasia Campus under the chairmanship of Governor Punjab and Chancellor Engr. Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
