On January 10, 2025, the 87th meeting of the Syndicate of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) was held in the conference room of the Vice Chancellor Secretariat, Abbasia Campus, chaired by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
