A MoU was signed between the IUB and District Headquarters Hospital Lodhran for practical training, teaching and research, and mutual cooperation to facilitate students of University College of Nursing. The agreement was signed by Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, WVC and Dr. Muhammad Aurangzaib MS District Headquarters Hospital Lodhran.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
