On October 10, 2025, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur hosted a one-day national seminar on the Prophetic Principles of Interfaith Dialogue in honor of the 1500th anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
