On 8 May 2024, an inter-faculty war of words took place at the Faculty Auditorium of Agriculture and Environment organized by the IUB Agrarians Society under the supervision of Dr Saira Tanveer (DDSA FA&E).
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
