The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an annual UN Women campaign from 25 November to 10 December. The Department of Gender Studies at Usman Buzdar School of State Sciences held an inauguration at the Faculty of Arts Building, led by Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
