On March 27, 2025, the closing ceremony of the complete translation of the Quran and brief commentary in Ramadan was held under the auspices of the Department of Translation Studies at the Syed Suleman Nadvi Auditorium, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
