09 December 2025: The first International Harmony Summit and the second International Conference organized by the Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, have begun at Abbasia Campus.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
