Syed Makhdoom Ahmad Alam Anwar, Former Federal Minister, Member of the National Assembly, a progressive agriculturist, and a renowned mango grower, visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. During his visit, Makhdoom Ahmad Alam Anwar held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
