Former Mayor Bahawalpur Aqeel Najam Hashmi met with Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, Islamia University of Bahawalpur. On this occasion , he praised educational and socio-economic contribution of the IUB in the development of the city. Chairman Bahawalpur Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education and Member Selection Board Dr. Mazhar Saeed was also present on this occasion.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
