Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC)/Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Intervarsity (Men) Championship 2024-25 started at Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Intervarsity Championship is being organized by IUB and HEC. The opening match was played between IUB and Khawaja Farid University of Engineering and Information Technology, RYK and IUB won their first match by 333 runs.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
