On the occasion Botanical Research Garden inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor IUB along with Dr. Asad Parvez Qureshi, Managing Director Kamal Laboratories, Pak.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
