August 14, 2025: The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar Campus, observed Pakistan Independence Day with national spirit and enthusiasm. On direction of Worthy VC Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran in connection to celebrating 100 year of IUB, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony and plantation was held. The National Flag was hoisted by Dr. Rafaquat Ali, Director, Bahawalnagar Campus.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
