Famous Pakistani cricketer Sharjeel Khan visited the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Sports Society of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) organized Sports Arena with the famous cricketer Sharjeel Khan. This function is held at main Auditorium Baghdaad-Al-Jadeed Campus.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
