On February 19, 2026, the Seerat Chair and the Directorate of Mosques hosted a seminar titled "Ramadan and Our Responsibilities" at the Syed Salman Nadvi Auditorium, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
