The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has been included in the top 500 universities of the world on the basis of its performance in achieving the goals of sustainable development in the recent rankings of Times Higher Education.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
