On December 17, 2025, the Department of Gender Studies within the School of State Sciences at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) hosted a one-day seminar titled "Gender-Based Digital Violence: Prevention and Protection" at the Jinnah Auditorium.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
