Department of Pakistan Studies, Islamia University Bahawalpur organized an event on the occasion of "Sir Syed Day" with the aim of appreciating Sir Syed Ahmed Khan's services to the Muslims of the sub-continent.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
