The Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized International Mehfil-e-Qiraat-wa-Naat and National Seerat Conference on the occasion of Hafta Shaan e Rahmatul Lil Aalameen (SAWW) in the Month of Rabi ul Awwal. Qiraat and Naat Competitions and Seminars were also organized in this connection.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
