25 March 2025: IUB Qiraat and Naat Society organized the grand mehfil Qiraat & Naat and Seminar at Ghulam Muhammad Gothvi Hall, Abbasia Campus, on the occasion of the Holy Blessed Ramadan. The guest speaker was Syed Zeeshan Akhtar, Chairman of the Al-Khidmat Foundation in South Punjab.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
