02 March 2026: A proud moment for the Islamia University of Bahawalpur as students from various departments completed the 50 Books a Year Reading Competition (Term 2025), organized by Read Pakistan in collaboration with IUB. Among many participants, four students of IUB met all academic requirements and were awarded certificates by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
