The MoU signing ceremony between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Cogent Labs Lahore held at Vice Chancellor's Secretariat, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, IUB. Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor IUB and Ms. Haleema Saeed from Cogent Labs signed on agreement while Mr. Shahid Afzal Durrani, Director CC&PC, IUB and Ms. Areej H.R. Generalist, Cogent Labs were also present on the occasion.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
