The First National Conference of Punjab Chapter on Sustainable Development Goals was jointly organized by the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and SDG Academy at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus Auditorium. Dr. Ehsan Sadiq (IG Police of South Punjab) and Ammar Jafri (Former Additional DG FIA) were invited as the chief guest.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
