26 February 2026: Laptops were distributed to students at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus under the Prime Minister of Pakistan Laptop Scheme. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran distributed laptops among students.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
