Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha briefed respected vice chancellors about IUB progress under dynamic leadership of Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. They were briefed about student and faculty strength at IUB, number of PhD and MPhil programs, student societies, world and national level ranking of IUB, pedagogical training initiative for young faculty members.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
