May 07, 2025: According to a notification issued by the Higher Education Department Punjab, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran has been appointed as the regular Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He has assumed the charge of the regular Vice Chancellor today.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
