The second Bahawalpur Literary and Cultural Festival has been organized at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. In which famous artists, singers, poets and writers from all over the country came and added to the splendor of this festival. This festival lasted for four days and many small and big events were held in this festival. Mr. Tauqeer Nasir, Famous Actor participates as Chief Guest.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
