The Department of World Religions and Interfaith Harmony organized a seminar on the topic of Study of Religions and Future Opportunities. Prof. Dr. Saeed-ur-Rehman, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies, Institute of Southern Punjab, and Prof. Dr. Ghulam Shams-ur-Rehman, Head of the Department of Interfaith Studies, Allama Iqbal Open University, participated in this seminar as guest speakers.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
