27 October 2023, a special rally was held at Abbasia Campus under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people on the day of Black Day.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
