On April 30, 2025, the District Election Commission Bahawalnagar hosted an awareness session for special students. Under the guidance of Campus Director Dr. Rafaqat Ali, special and disabled students from the Islamia University Bahawalpur Bahawalnagar Campus took part.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
