The Department of Soil Science, Institute of Soil and Water Resources (ISWR), The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), marked World Soil Day 2024 with a series of engaging activities including a cake-cutting ceremony, models and poster competition among students at the institute, and awareness walk, aimed at raising awareness about soil health and sustainability.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
