The IUB Art and Photography Society organized an online photography Exhibition titled “Salute to the Workers” on the occasion of Labor Day, with the aim of paying tribute to the workers of Bahawalpur. The society's members went to various places in Bahawalpur, such as markets, roads, workshops, and other public places, and took pictures of the daily life of the workers themselves.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
