11 May 2025: To honour the Pakistani Armed Forces and the Bahawalpur martyrs, a rally of teachers, staff, and students was organized under the direction of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, the Honorable Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The rally ended at Khatm-e-Nabuwat Chowk from Abbasia Campus.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
