05 Dec 2025 – The Department of Soil Science, Institute of Soil and Water Resources, Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), organized a seminar to mark World Soil Day 2025 under the theme “Healthy Soil, Healthy City.” The event highlighted the vital role of soils in food security, climate resilience, and sustainable urban development.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
