President of Pakistan His Excellency Asif Ali Zardari awarded a certificate to Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran on completion of the 27th National Security Workshop. First Lady of Pakistan and MNA Ms. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and President of National Defence University Pakistan, Lt. Gen. Babar Iftikhar Hilal-i-Imtiaz (military), were also present on the occasion.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
