Industrial Linkages and Industrial Visits
The department of electronic engineering has taken measures to actively involve industrial personnel to play a role in academic grooming of our student. Experts from industry, department alumni and others are taking part to strengthen our engineering program. We encourage our students to visit such organizations and identify problems pertaining to them, which could be undertaken as projects. Such liaisons have remained fruitful in developing industrial linkages with industries/organizations situated in the near vicinity. A list of Collaborating Organizations is given in given Table.

Internship
Internship is an important part of engineering degree program and serves as a major purpose in imparting practical experience as well as an insight into the working of the organization. Its importance is vital for grooming the engineering graduates. The UCET arranges internship for its students by requesting reputed organizations all over Pakistan in summer vacations. Job Placement and Career Counseling
Electronic Engineering Department works in strong collaboration with the carrier development center (CDC) along with the student societies of similar scope for career counseling of graduating students. The emphasis is on the effective placement of students and graduates in the industry along with counseling sessions, which provide career advice to the students. The department organizes different workshops in routine e.g. “Interview Techniques”, “Resume Writing”, “Job Search Techniques” etc.
Job Fairs and Alumni Dinners
To meet the demand of the job market, the department of Electronic Engineering bridges the gap between academia and industry with effective industrial linkage program. Department arranges and facilitate different organizations to hire and interact with promising students. Open houses and final year project displays are organized in which industrial partners are invited. This is a continuous process for students at the IUB and with the help of Alumni chapter the rate of job placement is increased.
