Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), in collaboration with, Pharmacology Students Club, hosted Pharmacology and Therapeutics Sketchbook Exhibition & Competition at Khawaja Fareed Campus. Students of Pharm.D. 3rd Professional participated and presented their sketchbooks, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen, Chairperson, department of Pharmacology, Advisor Dr. Shahid Muhammad Iqbal, and the Co-Advisors; Mr. Fayyaz Anjum & Ms. Mariya Anwaar. The theme of the event, 'Chemotherapy: At A Glance' was aimed to showcase the intricate mechanisms of action, adverse effects, and therapeutic impact of chemotherapeutic drugs through creative artwork.As many as 94 brilliant students out of total 176 enrolled students participated in the competition. Dr. M Asif, Dr. Sajid-ur-Rehman and Ms. Fatima Aslam also attended the event. Dr. Adnan Akram, Drug Controller, Bahawalpur, Dr. Qurat-ul-ain Jamil and Dr. Ayesha Jamshed, being the judges, appreciated the creativity of students. Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabeen concluded the event with a thanking note and congratulated winners of the competition.

شعبہ فارماکولوجی، فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی، اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور نے فارماکولوجی اسٹوڈنٹس کلب کے تعاون سے فارماکولوجی اینڈ تھیراپیوٹکس اسکیچ بک نمائش اور مقابلے کا انعقاد کیا۔ ان مقابلوں میں فارم ڈی کے طلبا و طالبات نے حصہ لیا اور اپنی خاکہ کتابیں پیش کیں- پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قیصر جبین چیئرپرسن شعبہ فارماکولوجی، ڈاکٹر شاہد محمد اقبال، فیاض انجم اور ماریہ انور نے ان مقابلوں کی نگرانی اور سرپرستی کی۔ مقررین کا کہنا تھا کہ تقریب کا تھیم 'کیموتھراپی ایک نظر میں' کا مقصد تخلیقی آرٹ ورک اور کیموتھراپیٹک ادویات کے علاج کے اثرات کو اجاگر کرنا تھا۔ اس مقابلے میں 94 ہونہار طلباء نے حصہ لیا۔ ڈاکٹر عدنان اکرم ڈرگ کنٹرولر بہاولپور، ڈاکٹر قرۃ العین جمیل اور ڈاکٹر عائشہ جمشید نے ججز کے طور پر طلباء کی تخلیقی صلاحیتوں کو سراہا۔
