Bahawalpur (    ):A solidarity walk organized at the Islamia  University of Bahawalpur to show unity with Kashmiri people on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day. The Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob led the rally participated by faculty members, students, employees and members of media and civil society. The Vice Chancellor said that Kashmir Movement has become a global issue and the whole world is concerned to resolve this long standing dispute. The United Nations has clearly accepted the right of self-determination of people of Kashmir through a resolution. This is truly an indigenous movement which is full of sacrifices of Kashmiri youth. Pakistan has always given moral and political support to suppressed Kashmiris at every international forum. The participants paid rich tribute to martyrs and praised the freedom enthusiasm of Kashmiri people.
