PhD Computer Science public defense of two candidates will be held on 23 Aug. 2025 at 10:00 in the Video Conference Room, Main Auditorium, BJ Campus, IUB:

1. Ms. Amna Ikram will defend her thesis titled "Crop Yield Maximization Using Precision Agriculture".
2. Ms. Muniba Saleem will defend her thesis titled "Thalassemia Diagnostic System for Different Levels of Anomalies".
Both the candidates researched under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Waqar Aslam, Department of Information Security, FoC.
First work investigates three case studies of the emergent Precision Agriculture using AI, while the second work investigates the use of AI for Thalassemia Diagnostics under varying conditions.
