Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, briefed about the research activities on Cotton crop in the Department of PBG as cotton is not just a crop but an industry in itself, ultimately sustaining the development of the country.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
